Jen Psaki, the White House press secretary, was questioned on Wednesday about comments she made in which she said Republicans wanted to “defund the police,” but she was unable to identify a single Republican who sided with the movement.
“The president ran and won the most votes of any candidate in history on a platform of boosting funding for law enforcement after Republicans spent decades trying to cut the COPS program,” said Psaki.
When asked which Republicans in Congress voted against the measure because they wanted to defund law enforcement, Psaki came up short.
