McConnell promises that Joe Biden’s infrastructure bill won’t get GOP support
According to Mitch McConnell, Joe Biden’s massive infrastructure bill won’t get any GOP support. In fact, the Senate minority leader plans to block it “every step of the way.”
Why? Maybe because the infrastructure bill has very little to do with infrastructure and everything to do with liberal pork.
And besides, as badly as we need our roads and bridges fixed, Americans can’t afford a tax hike while coming out of a major economic downturn.
“I think the last thing the economy needs right now is a big, whopping tax increase,” said McConnell.
Who in the White House thought it was a good idea to come up with a proposal that hikes the corporate tax rate just as companies all across the country slowly recover from the economic impact of the pandemic?
Honestly, it goes to show how Democrats don’t care about people. It’s all about advancing their agenda.

Photos capture moment son reunites with 98-year-old mom after a year of quarantine
Touching photos have captured the moment a man reunited with his 98-year-old mother for the first time in a year after getting fully vaccinated.
Mark Uomoto, 68, and his cousin Gail Yamada surprised his mother Yoshia on Tuesday at Nikkei Manor, an assisted living home in Seattle, Washington, that serves primarily Japanese American seniors.
The joy on her face was unmistakable when her son and niece walked into the room.
‘It was so wonderful to hear, see her expression of excitement that she had because we’ve not seen Mom, my cousin and I, for over a year,’ said Mark.
