The government is looking into a DHS contract connected to this Biden official

The Inspector General’s office at the Department of Homeland Security is looking into a multi-million dollar contract issued to a Texas firm that employs a former Biden transition aide.

A continuing examination of the contract with the San Antonio-based NGO Endeavors is looking at how “ICE plans to house migrant families in hotels, and how ICE selected a contractor to implement these plans,” revealed an Inspector General official.

Thanks to Endeavors, thousands of immigrants are being housed in hotels after illegally crossing the US-Mexico border.

Shortly after Andrew Lorenzen-Strait, a former Biden transition official, was hired by Endeavors, the company was awarded a massive contract to help house a flood of illegal immigrants.

Of course, the Biden administration denies any wrongdoing. But the Inspector General wouldn’t be wasting time on something like this unless there were concerns about the legal ramifications of the deal.

Young boy swims a mile to save his family

After a boating mishap over Memorial Day weekend, a 7-year-old kid saved his father and younger sister by swimming a mile to get help.

On the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida, Chase Poust and his 4-year-old sister, Abigail, were swimming beside their father’s anchored boat on Friday night. However, as the two kids were having fun in the water, Abigail lost her grip boat when they were trapped in a strong current.

Their father, Steven Proust, dove in to save them and urged Chase to swim to land while he attempted to save Abigail, who was being swept along by the current while wearing a flotation device.

Chase then began the 1-mile swim back to shore, alternating between floating on his back and doggy paddling. Chase recounted that after he arrived at the coast, he dashed to the first house he could find and knocked on their door.

Thanks to Chase, rescuers were able to save his father and sister after nearly an hour of searching!
