Will congress make the relief bill deadline?
The deadline for congress to create a new stimulus bill is today and there hasn’t been any real progress all week.
The self-imposed deadline was supposed to allow lawmakers to reach a consensus before everyone left town for an August recess.
But negotiations are at a near standstill, with Democrats refusing to budge on key aspects of the bill.
