Do the Democrats want to tank the economy?
During negotiations for a new coronavirus stimulus bill, Democrats refused to budge on their demands.
The cost of their proposal was unsustainable. And McConnell himself was willing to accept extending the $600 unemployment supplement to get something passed.
But it wasn’t enough for Democrats, and the talks ultimately failed.
Due to congress unable and unwilling to do its job, Trump decided to take matters into his own hands.
And Democrats are now criticizing the president for trying to salvage the stimulus package.
Some officials are starting to wonder if liberals are legitimately trying to undermine the US economy.
