Joe Biden openly contradicts press secretary on the issue of opening schools
Joe Biden had to distance himself from his press secretary after the White House faced significant backlash over its proposed plan for reopening schools.
Psaki claimed the administration wanted to open a few schools just one day a week, with no other details about how the rest of America’s public schools would reopen. When the press mentioned that most school districts had already passed that threshold on their own, Psaki didn’t flinch.
And the White House even claimed that students wouldn’t have to deal with summer school either. But all that came crashing down when Biden was asked about the plan during a CNN town hall.
Biden made it clear that the information was wrong and there was a communication error. Joe Biden threw his press secretary under the bus on live television.

‘Yellow Balloon Challenge’ in West Virginia goes viral with acts of kindness
The power of social media has become evident in a positive way in Jefferson County, West Virginia after one young mother commended an act of kindness toward her young son using a Facebook video.
Natasha Kable Fogle took to the internet this week to share an experience that touched her heart. While shopping at a local party store, Fogle noted the cashier went out of her way to be kind to Fogle’s young son, Grayson.
In her video, Fogle said she was unaware of the cashier’s name and hoped that the video would somehow reach her because Carper’s gift of a simple yellow balloon had meant so much to Grayson and to his mother. Now, her story has sparked a challenge of sharing kindness that’s gone viral across the internet.
