Lawmakers still can’t agree on a relief bill

Lawmakers and the White House are no closer to a deal on the next relief bill, despite a weekend meeting meant to hammer out differences between both sides.

With the emergency federal unemployment bonus expired, all eyes are on congress to pass something to continue helping Americans impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.

Staffers plan to meet on Sunday, with lawmakers scheduled to try again on Monday.
