Sessions fighting for his political life in Alabama
Political endorsements can often make or break a political campaign, especially if the president is the one doing the endorsing.
But what happens if the president is actively fighting your election attempts, even though you’re both in the same party?
That’s exactly what’s happening in Alabama as Jeff Sessions, Trump’s former Attorney General, is trying to regain his old senate seat. Trump famously fired Sessions after he recused himself from the Russia interference investigations.
Now, Trump’s pulling no punches in letting the people of Alabama know exactly what he thinks of his former AG while openly backing Sessions’ rival.
