What we know about Pence and the 25th Amendment

Democrats led by Nancy Pelosi have pushed Mike Pence to use his position as vice president to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. Pence has finally responded to Pelosi with a resounding no.

In a letter addressed to the House Speaker, Pence says, “I do not believe that such a course of action is in the best interest of our Nation or consistent with our Constitution.”

Pence goes on to say that he will not be forced to play “political games” at a time when Americans are already greatly divided. Of course, Pelosi and her fellow liberals won’t take Pence’s words to heart. They’re already working on a second impeachment push against Trump anyway.

Democrats will most likely get articles of impeachment passed in the House, though how the Senate will react is still up in the air. Either way, Trump only has days left in office, so the entire effort is indeed one big political game.

A GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $46,000 for a man who returned someone’s lost wallet. Sean Currey found the wallet in a dumpster by the Kamson Coffee Shop in San Rafael, about 25 miles north of San Francisco.

Currey returned the wallet to its rightful owner with its contents intact. The wallet’s owner was so moved that she started a GoFundMe campaign to help Currey find a home and start a career building shelters for the homeless in the area. Be sure to check out the full story!
