Will runaway Texas Democrats finally face the consequences for their cowardice?
Texas Democrats have run out of options now that the Texas Supreme Court has allowed Governor Abbott to arrest them if and when they return to the state.
The cowards abandoned their posts in order to prevent the state legislature from passing a bill protecting future elections. They’ve been hiding in DC ever since.
But their resolve began to break earlier this week as some of them started to return home. Now, the Texas House Speaker has signed arrest warrants for the liberal lawmakers that are still AWOL.
If regular folks like us abandoned our jobs, we’d get fired in a heartbeat. The same needs to happen to these lawmakers. What they’ve done is a clear case of dereliction of duty.
