Texas is stepping up to protect the border since Joe Biden won’t do it
As the Biden administration refuses to admit that we have a crisis at the border, Texas is stepping up to do something about it.
Governor Abbott has ordered Operation Lone Star to put National Guard troops and tactical border security assets at the US/Mexico border to deal with the growing humanitarian crisis.
“The crisis at our southern border continues to escalate because of Biden administration policies that refuse to secure the border and invite illegal immigration,” said Abbott.
Even Democratic Texas politicians are raising the alarm about the worsening situation at the border, but their colleagues in DC refuse to listen.
“In the last 7 days in the valley, they have stopped 10,000 individuals and 2,500 individuals in the last two days, and many are being released,” said Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar, who also fears that illegal immigrants could worsen the pandemic if the federal government doesn’t get things under control.
It’s a sad state of affairs when a state has to do the federal government’s job.

Pennsylvania town surprised its UPS driver in a big way
A UPS driver was moved to tears after his customers in Dauphin, Pennsylvania gave a grand show of support for his hard work.
Chad Turns is the sole UPS delivery driver for Dauphin. “The whole town has had personal experience with Chad,” said one resident. “He once thought a package was a gift, and there was a picture on the front. My kids were playing outside, so he waited until his shift was done and came back to make sure they didn’t see it.”
Last week, Turns showed up at a local parking lot for what he thought was a package pickup. It turns out the whole town was there to throw him a quick party.
The group of neighbors gave him a $1000 gift they had collectively raised, along with a large card signed by members of the community. Turns has been taking care of the local community through the pandemic, and neighbors thought it was time to show their appreciation.
