How will the election objection work out?
Republican senators who want to object to the electoral college certification are still discussing their plan’s final details.
The group’s colleagues in the House worry that the entire effort will be pointless if the senators don’t object to enough states when the vote total comes before Congress.
If the senators fail to match the number of states proposed by the House GOP, the objection won’t impact the election results as planned.
While the senators are pushing forward with their plan, they’re still sorting out the final details, according to Ted Cruz, who is leading the effort.
Members of the GOP are demanding an emergency 10-day audit before allowing the election results to be finalized. If the audit doesn’t happen, the aftermath will be seriously interesting.

This surfer saved a woman swept out to sea in Hawaii
A professional surfer is being called a hero for rescuing a woman from rough waves off Hawaii.
Mikey Wright was recording a video of the waves at Oahu island on December 31 when he saw a beachgoer get swept away.
Wright remarked that the swimmer needed to be saved, but his wife said, “you can’t save them!” Wright promptly handed his phone to his wife while it was still recording, jumped a fence, ran to the shore, and dove into the water. He grabbed the woman and brought her back to shore safely.
