Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Mo., has asked top federal epidemiologist Anthony Fauci to quit in the wake of disclosures regarding emails Fauci sent during the coronavirus outbreak. He also demanded that the virus’ origins be investigated by Congress.

“The time has come for Fauci to resign and for a full congressional investigation into the origins of #COVID19 and into any and all efforts to prevent a full accounting,” Tweeted Hawley.

A batch of emails obtained by a Freedom of Information request showed how Fauci helped cover up concerns that a lab in China sparked the global pandemic.

It’s doubtful that Fauci will resign, and the White House has already started making excuses for him. But it’s clear that Fauci needs to step down and go home.

Kenneth Smith was lying outside of an Outback Steakhouse nine months ago, using his yellow rucksack as a pillow. He was hungry and on the verge of giving up on life.

That is until he met Laura Hodges, the restaurant’s managing partner in Fort Worth, Texas.

Smith ate at the restaurant many times a week for months, and Hodges learned a little bit more about him, his life, and his life story with each visit, she said. And then she gave him a job as a busser about two and a half months later.
