The pro-Biden press corps has become an embarrassment
If you thought that the media’s job in the White House press corps was to hold the president accountable, you’re dead wrong.
Joe Biden’s first press conference has come and gone, and the line of questioning was lackluster, to say the least.
Biden was pressed on the immigration crisis by one reporter, though it wasn’t nearly hard enough. By all accounts, the press lobbed slow and easy softballs at Ol’ Joe.
In so many words, one reporter even said that immigrants are flocking to the US because Joe Biden is such a nice guy. The sycophancy makes me want to vomit.
The cherry-picked questions were obviously designed to help Biden look as if he knows what he’s doing. But I don’t think it worked.

American bald eagle populations are soaring thanks to conservation efforts
The number of bald eagles in the lower 48 U.S. states — a population once on the brink of extinction — has quadrupled in the last dozen years to more than 316,000, federal wildlife officials say, despite steep declines in other American bird populations.
The turnaround is a “historic conservation success story,” said newly confirmed Interior Secretary Deb Haaland at a news conference Wednesday. The success story, wildlife officials said, is a dramatic reminder of the power of conservation efforts.
