Will Republicans finally dump Trump-hating Liz Cheney?
Liz Cheney, R-Wyoming, has become one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics within the Republican Party. And it looks like her comments are finally catching up to her.
Leaders within the GOP are actively discussing what to do with the controversial lawmaker, with some suggesting the party should remove her as their conference chair.
One senior GOP official claims that party leadership could take up a vote on the issue as early as next week when the House returns to session.
Cheney has angered many within the Republican Party after voting to impeach Trump during his second impeachment fiasco. With Cheney serving as conference chair, many within the GOP worry that her comments could be seen as dictating official party direction.
“When you have only so much time, she wants to talk about Trump, not the people who are running the country into the ground,” said one GOP source that wished to remain anonymous.
Republicans have quickly learned that MAGA supporters are still loyal to Trump. And even moderate Republicans realize that bad-mouthing the former president won’t win them any elections in 2022 and 2024. So, hopefully, GOP leadership makes the right decision.

This stranger made an incredible decision to save a life
A Good Samaritan risked their own life to save an infant thrown from a crash in Maryland by jumping off a bridge. If that isn’t heroic, I don’t know what is!
The wreck occurred on a bridge in Ocean City over Assawoman Bay. A small child was ejected from one vehicle and landed in the bay.
That’s when someone jumped off the bridge and into the water to rescue the infant.
According to officials, eight people sustained injuries during the crash, and the infant was flown to John Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore after the rescue.
