Republicans are getting impatient over this long overdue report

A group of GOP senators is demanding that John Durham’s investigation into the FBI continue and the report be made public as many people are left wondering why Durham and his investigation have basically fallen off the face of the earth.

“The Special Counsel’s ongoing work is important to many Americans who were disturbed that government agents subverted lawful process to conduct inappropriate surveillance for political purposes,” read a letter from more than 40 Republicans to Attorney General Merrick Garland.

Durham was originally appointed to probe the depths of the FBI’s involvement in the Russian collusion mess from the 2016 election. But, as Trump has pointed out multiple times, people are growing impatient with the lack of any apparent progress in the investigation.

Of course, Democrats don’t want Durham to shine a light on how corrupt the FBI has become, especially if it hurts their current narrative and political agenda.

Will the GOP be successful in its push to get Durham’s report to the people?
