According to senior law enforcement officials across the country, Facebook’s attempt to crush certain speech on its platform prevents law enforcement from finding people who threaten violence against the US government

“A lot of that energy is diverted when you shut down that platform. On the other hand, it pushes them to other locations, so, you know, we’re going to have to follow those threats wherever they go, which is a challenge in and of itself,’ said New York City’s head of intelligence and counterterrorism.

Facebook recently announced it was removing references to “stop the steal” across its platform due to the violence that occurred in DC. Of course, the company refused to reveal if they took similar action during the violent protests last year.

The FBI currently has concerns that more uprisings will occur before and during Biden’s inauguration next week.

A nurse who works with coronavirus patients at a nursing home in North Carolina won a $1 million lottery jackpot. Terri Watkins said she was shocked when she got the call.

“I thought that it was a scam. I was a little upset, actually,” she said. “I thought that it was not real, couldn’t be real. It’s still something that I really don’t believe. I’m still in some shock here.”

She claimed her prize Thursday. Rather than $1 million paid out over 20 years, she took a lump sum of $600,000, which after taxes was $424,500.
