SCOTUS justice warns of threats to freedom

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or you’re liberal), it’s no secret that Americans face unprecedented threats to their constitutional rights. And at least one Supreme Court justice agrees.
Justice Alito, during a speech at the Federalist Society, warned that freedom of speech and religious liberty are under attack in the US.
“Tolerance for opposing views is now in short supply,” said Alito as he discussed how traditional conservative and Christian viewpoints were being silenced by government overreach.
SCOTUS justices tend to shy away from making overly-political statements when speaking in public, but Alito didn’t hold anything back.
Hopefully, the court’s other conservative justices agree with Alito’s honest assessment of America’s current political atmosphere.

How this local hero saved someone from drowning
A good Samaritan jumped into action when he saw a car sinking in the Newark Bay with the driver trapped inside.
As a crowd grew and the commotion got louder, it caught the ear of Anthony Capuano.
Capuano, who happened to be a swim instructor, decided to jump into action. Even having a prosthetic leg didn’t stop him from helping.
After jumping into the New Jersey bay, Capuano helped pull the victim to safety and dry land.
