Biden may have already broken his first promise
If we’re honest, the Democrats basically bought the Georgia runoff election by promising $2K stimulus checks if their candidates were elected to the Senate. But Georgia voters are already mad at Joe Biden on his first full day in office.
If you think I’m hyperbolic, well, Biden himself said, “By electing Jon and the reverend, you can make an immediate difference in your own lives and the lives of the people all across this country. Because their election will put an end to the block in Washington on that $2,000 stimulus check.”
That’s a pretty cut and dry quote if you ask me. Georgians believed that if they elected Democrats, they’d get $2000 checks in the mail. But they’ve now learned that they may only get $1400 if anything at all.
Democrats are masters at the ol’ bait-and-switch tactic, so Americans shouldn’t be surprised. Georgia voters had the wool pulled over their eyes, and they’re going to be paying the price for some time.

This chef cooked free meals for troops at the Capitol
Tens of thousands of troops from around the country headed to the US Capitol to prevent additional acts of violence during the inauguration. But award-winning chef José Andrés saw a need to keep the troops adequately fed while they were carrying out their duties.
Andrés decided to cook and serve more than fourteen thousand meals for the National Guard members, and all for free. Chef Andrés wanted to make sure the troops had plenty of healthy options to choose from during their stay in DC. Check out the chef’s awesome act of kindness in this video!
