Bloomberg Considers Entering Presidential Race

Michael Bloomberg is reportedly thinking of entering the 2020 presidential election if the Democrats can’t get their act together and select a decent candidate.

The former mayor of New York is concerned that the current field of Democratic candidates is too weak, with no one candidate strong enough to defeat Trump.

While Bloomberg originally ran as a Republican during his time as mayor of New York City, he officially registered as a Democrat last year.

Bloomberg is just the latest liberal to openly question the Democrats’ ability to beat Trump in the upcoming election.

Trump Makes Statement on National Day For Victims of Communism

The White House released a statement from President Trump yesterday, highlighting the National Day for the Victims of Communism.

Trump acknowledged over 100 million people who lost their lives at the hands of communist regimes across the globe.

The president reiterated his commitment to defending the liberties of our American democracy and helping with the global fight against the rise of communist oppression.

This year’s National Day for the Victims of Communism falls just two days before the 50th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.

Third-Highest State Department Official Testifies No Quid Pro Quo in Ukraine Call

The Undersecretary of State for political affairs, David Hale, testified before the impeachment inquiry that there was no evidence of a link between Trump’s Ukraine phone call and the freezing of military aid.

Hale is the first witness to respond to subpoenas this week, with all other officials failing to show up. Hale reportedly testified for nearly 6 hours behind closed doors.

Hale is yet another official to tell the inquiry that they did not see any quid pro quo arrangement between Trump and Ukraine leadership.

Chicago Cop Runs 15K, Saves A Life, and Proposes All In Same Day

A Chicago cop pulled off a stunning trifecta in one day.

Officer Mike Nowacki ran the Allstate Hot Chocolate 15k in full SWAT gear as a show of support for his law enforcement brethren. Toward the end of the race, Nowacki noticed a commotion at the finish line.

A woman had a heart attack and was not breathing. Nowacki jumped into action and performed CPR until medics arrived, saving the woman’s life.

Then, sweaty and out of breath, Nowacki finally crossed the finish line, dropped to one knee, and proposed to his girlfriend.

Now that’s a real American!
