Trump calls on Biden to ‘resign in disgrace’ over crisis in Afghanistan
Former President Donald Trump called on President Joe Biden to “resign in disgrace” over the Afghan pullout and other concerns on Sunday.
“It is time for Joe Biden to resign in disgrace for what he has allowed to happen to Afghanistan, along with the tremendous surge in [the coronavirus], the Border catastrophe, the destruction of energy independence, and our crippled economy,” said Trump.
As opposition fighters reach Kabul, where US soldiers have been dispatched to evacuate the embassy, the Taliban have quickly gained control of the majority of the country.
The situation collapsed so quickly that it became apparent that the Biden administration had no idea what it was doing. Maybe Biden resigning is what’s best for everyone.
