The president demands this change to the stimulus bill
President Donald J. Trump took to national TV to slam Congress for shoving billions of dollars of pork into the so-called stimulus bill.
While foreign countries and major corporations are getting billions, individual Americans are only getting $600 each. Trump called the amount “ridiculously low” and demanded that Congress amend the bill to boost the checks to $2000 per person and $4000 for every couple.
The bill has been heavily trashed by plenty of people on both sides of the political aisle as more details emerged from the over 5,000 pages of line items.
Trump also called on Congress to get rid of the wasteful spending packed in the bill.
Whether you love him or hate him, Trump has a point. Congress has utterly failed the American people time and again. This bill is a slap in the face of millions of Americans impacted by the pandemic fall out, by no fault of their own.

How a Florida crossing guard is spreading holiday cheer
One Florida crossing guard is making sure the students he protects while walking to and from school have a happy holiday this year.
Ken Mizerek is known for going all out for the kids who cross with him in Pasco County. Even the local sheriff’s department is aware of Mizerek’s genuine care for the local students.
This year, Mizerek asked students to bring him stockings before the holiday season. He then filled them with toys and candy, giving them back to the kids as a Christmas gift. The gesture earned the humble crossing guard words of admiration and praise from parents across the county.
