Another Democrat slams the Biden administration over the immigration crisis
Kyrsten Sinema, a Democratic senator from Arizona, has publicly admitted that the federal government isn’t doing enough to deal with the ongoing immigration crisis.
Sinema met with the National Guard on Wednesday. After the meeting, the senator said it was clear that the federal government is dropping the ball in handling the border crisis.
“Arizona is bearing the brunt of this crisis because of the federal government’s failure to address immigration issues over the last three decades,” said Sinema.
Not too long ago, Sinema and her fellow Democrat Senator Mark Kelly wrote a letter to President Biden asking him to help Arizona deal with the influx of immigrants at the US-Mexico border. So far, there hasn’t been any public response from the White House.
Sinema isn’t the first Democrat to speak out. And, hopefully, she isn’t the last. Even local Democratic leaders in border towns have been blunt in their criticism of Joe Biden’s failure to deal with the growing humanitarian crisis at the border.

A mother and daughter duo seek to conquer Mt. Everest after beating cancer
Jess Wedel remembers sitting in chemo rooms with machines beeping and IVs dripping.
But she also remembers the person most often there offering encouragement and support. Her mom, Valari, was her constant companion as she battled ovarian cancer in the spring of 2016.
Together, they conquered that mountain.
And five years later, they hope to scale another mountain: Mount Everest.
The Oklahoma residents have already begun the nearly two-month-long journey in Nepal. If they are successful, they will become the first mother-daughter team from the United States to reach the top of the world’s highest peak.
