Why Donald Trump may have a lasting impact on voting rules
If the 2020 election taught us anything, it’s that our voting system is a complete mess. There didn’t need to be massive fraud to show that we’re doing a terrible job of managing our elections.
That’s why Republicans in several battleground states are working on overhauling election rules and voting laws to ensure none of this happens again in 2022 and 2024.
And you can thank Donald Trump for shoving this problem into the national spotlight. This is a problem that both Democrats and Republicans have failed to deal with. Voter registration rolls that haven’t been audited in decades, election rules getting changed at the last minute, and constant technical difficulties an election night while voters stand in line for hours to cast their ballots.
America can do better than this. And this shouldn’t be a partisan issue. We should all want to maintain the integrity of our free elections no matter what.

Chick-fil-a saves the day helping manage vaccine drive-thru line
The mayor of a small South Carolina town was so frustrated with the chaos developing at a drive-through vaccine clinic that he called in the real pros to help out.
Mayor Will Haynie of Mount Pleasant asked the local Chick-fil-a manager to step in and help manage the long lines during a vaccine distribution. The fast-food restaurant is known throughout the country for being able to reduce wait times at its drive-throughs. And they didn’t disappoint when their community asked for help.
Chick-fil-A manager Jerry Walkowiak reduced the wait time from one hour to just 15 minutes! “This was Jerry helping out his community when it mattered most,” said Mayor Haynie.
